I am running Vista Ultimate SP2 running 32bit version. I have nothing loaded except the OS, Office 2007, and system software and itunes. I seem to be stuck with 3 security patches getting constant error saying it can not update.

It *WOULD* solve the problem but the hotfix applies to business and ultimate versions only. MS’ solution is to upgrade to business or ultimate and then apply the hotfix.

Download the failed updates from the Microsoft Download Center and install them manually. There’s some kind of glitch with Office updates on Microsoft Update, hopefully it will be sorted out eventually but in the meantime it’s back to the old-fashioned process! Harry

Bernd, 0×8024400D WU_E_PT_SOAP_CLIENT SOAP_E_CLIENT – SOAP client found the message was malformed; fix before resending. What appears to be occurring is the Protocal Talker (PT) can’t communicate with the update server because the Windows Update Agent installed is too old. Suggest you download and *save* the latest release of the Windows Update
